No Syntax Highlighting (Newbie)

I installed EPIC 0.4.27 on Eclipse 3.2 and everythings works fine except
syntax highlighting. Do I have to turn it on? What do I do wrong?

You should open files with EPIC instead of the default editor (right-click
on a file and use "Open With" from the context menu). You can also edit
file associations in Window/Preferences to set EPIC as the default editor
for *.pl, *.pm.

Thanks, this works. The preferences were set correct, but the editor was
wrong.
