PLX files not recognized

I noticed perl files ending in .plx are not recognized or treated as perl
files with EPIC.

File associations I understand to be:
*.pm is a perl module script
*.pl is a perl library script
*.plx is a perl executable script

my Eclipse info:

Eclipse SDK
Version: 3.1.2
Build id: M20060118-1600

Perl Editor Plug-in 0.2.4
Regexp Plug-in 0.1.3
Debug Plug-in  0.3.2

Found the answer.

Just need to add an association under:
Window->Preferences

Expand to General->Editors

Click on File Associations

Here you can add file extensions and associate with proper editors etc.
